FAQ
1. Why are you folders in a crazy order, it makes it really hard to find all the pieces of the film I am looking for?
I don’t place them in a folder in a crazy order, that I am afraid is the work of Rapidshare. Fortunately it is easy to fix. At the top of the file listing you will see
Sort files by: filename add-time
Click on “filename” above the crazy ordered listing and it will be resorted into alphabetical order by filename.
2. Why do you use Rapidshare and not service XYZ which I really prefer? Why do you support Rapidshare as it forces you to pay? Even when I pay I can only download 5GB a day!
I prefer Rapidshare for my uploads. From where I am it is relatively fast and relatively reliable. Thus I have chosen get an annual subscription and as I am the one doing the uploading, my choice is the one that rules. I don’t have the time, need or interest to explore other services at the moment.
Rapidshare forces no one to pay, it simply limits how much users who do not pay can use the services so that those that do pay have a better service. You get what you pay for in this world, so don’t expect to get too much if it is free. And anyway Rapidshare only costs about ½ the price of a porn DVD and you can download a heck of a lot in a month. If you want a lot of stuff, fork out.
5GB is a lot of stuff, in excess of 5 hours of viewing. Maybe you need to examine your life if you need more than 5 hours of porn a day. Or get 2 Rapidshare memberships, it is still cheap
If you do not wish to use Rapidshare, please feel free to delete my post without reading it, just please do not clog up the groups with complaints
3. Why is the video XYZ incomplete? Why have you wasted my time/bandwidth/money/patience only posting some of the parts of video XYZ that I have been downloading?
All the videos that I upload contain all parts at the point of sending out the link to the folder. This does not always stay this way and some parts do get deleted (I do not know the reason why. There are many theories why this happens discussed at length in many of the groups (phantom complainer, complaints from copyright holders, a checking system built into Rapidshare, etc, etc – choose the one you like to explain why they disappear).
Sadly I cannot replace the missing segments, this is for two reasons a) I very rarely keep hold of the original file I don’t have the storage capacity (I already store in excess of 500GB) and my interest in the video is usually lost after I have “used” it and b) I don’t have the time to go searching my archive for the orginal film and recreating and reuploading the missing bits. I am sorry that this may disappoint some of you, but enjoy the fact that even if you don’t get one film, there are always plenty more coming. You can of course also ask fellow group members to post the missing part if they have it.
4. Why do you never post any screen caps with your files? I don’t have time to waste on anything without knowing what it is?
I will put my hands up and admit this has been an oversight on my part. Being fairly pressed for time I assumed people would prefer to have the files and decide themselves what they would like to keep and what to delete. Most people have however said they would prefer to have less postings but with vieo caps. I have listened and I will be doing my best to supply vid caps in future. I have about 2 weeks worth of uploads to sent out without vid caps, but hopefully from then all files should have appropriate vid caps and/or box cover art. These will be posted in the folders on Rapidshare, not included in the postings to the groups though. In the meantime I have been posting the vids that I have art for on my blog at:

5. Why do you post to so many groups, you must just be spamming and posting crap?
I post to the groups that I particularly like and those groups who over the years kept my video stash well topped up. I consider it only fair that I share with all of them as they have shared with me. It would be a waste of time to create separate, identical messages to each group separately. Those that consider what I post to be spam, please feel free to ignore my posts or use the Delete key which is provided with your computer. Please do not bomb the group or the moderator with whining. Moderators who do not like what I share are free to ask me to stop or as a few have done remove me from their groups. Likewise if you own a group and like what I post, I am happy to join your group.
6. What do I do with .rar files? What do I need to do with files 001, 002, etc on the end, they won’t run? My downloads don’t work! How can I play a file with XYZ extension? How do I use Rapidshare? The files I downloaded don’t work?
For these problems you can try posting to the group and someone (including me if I have the time) may be able to help. I strongly recommend however that you simply join
